The Stupid Monkeys

One evening, a little monkey sat on a branch of a tree. A firefly came to him carrying his light.
The little monkeys asked the firefly, “can you put your light in your house?”.
”If I put it in my house, how can I see the mosquitoes”, answered the firefly.
“Why do you want to see them?”,he asked again.
The firefly answered, “They always distrub my way”.
Hearing the firefly’s answer, the monkey laughed loudly, because he thought it was very funny.
He asked again, “Why are you afraid of mosquitoes?” “I am not afraid of them,” the firefly shouted. But the monkey only laughted loudly.

The little monkey told other monkeys all about the firefly. They also laughed. Unfortunately, the firefly knew and got angry because all of the monkeys laughed at him.
The firefly went to meet the little monkey. The met each other under the tree.
The firefly asked him, “Why did you tell your friends that i was afraid of mosquitoes?” “It is a fact”, the little monkey answered still laughing.
The firefly became angrier and challenged him to a fight. Not “I am not afraid of mosquitoes or others, you stupid monkeys”, the firefly scolded him. “please tell your friends that i am not afraid of them”, the firefly said again when the little monkey heard this, he laughed again.
The firefly said, “You can laugh now but tomorrow you will laugh no more. I ask you big monkeys to fight with me”, said the firefly.
The next day big monkeys to the firefly’s house. Each monkey carried a big and long stick which would be used to hit the firefly. Other animals ran away when they saw the long line monkeys with stickes in their hands.

However, the firefly was not afraid and came out to meet the monkeys. The firefly said, “I am not afraid of all of you”. “How dare you are?”, said the monkeys and they all laughed. “All right”, said the firefly as he flew and perched an the nose of the biggest monkey. The firefly sat there quietly. “Get off my nose”, shouted the biggest monkey. “Let me kill him”, said another monkey. Then he hit firefly with his big stick. The firefly flew away quickly to another monkey. The biggest monkey got a blow on his nose fell down. When the firefly sat again on the nose of another monkey. The nest monkey tried to hit the firefly but the same thing happened. The monkey who was hit by his friend also fell down. One after the other the monkeys tried to kill the firefly. They fell down until every monkey was on the ground. The last monkey was so afraid that he ran away.

My Poem

Beloved

One lonely night, when i was alone
Day dreaming in the quiet room
Waiting for my beloved to come
Even though you’d never return anymore

I know more and more, the night was getting darker
 The moon went down
 The stars didn’t shine
But why ... I couldn’t close my eyes

Sweet memories couldn’t be forgotten
When i told you the story of my life
When i was crying on your lap
You wiped out my tears
And comforted me ...

My beloved ...
Where are you now ...?
You left me without saying anything
Why had you hurt my heart ...?

Now, I lost all my hope
Who i have to complain to ?
Who i have to take shelter with ?
You’re never beside me anymore And you made me lose all my courage
To fall in love again ....
